What do you think of Amazon Silk? Its announcement claims that it speeds
up browsing on the Kindle Fire by doing some processing in Amazon's
cloud. Amazon would be able to optimize for the screen size of the Fire.

Maybe they borrowed some ideas from Rabbit.

What do you think of Amazon Silk?

It looks like a nice toy, especially at the current price.
Looks to be a bit locked in though, but there will likely be
options to handle that.

Maybe they did. Google also have/had a speedup service but it was to
speed up already fast connections.

Since I do not have a silk I can not really say much, but I would be
very interested to hear what they do.
